Praise Him

After some recent days (more like a lifetime, really) of ups and downs and worry and striving, God once again showed Himself faithful.

And when you’ve seen His power and grace revealed in so many ways, you tend to fall to your knees in thankful praise.

Just like the multitudes of angels and all creatures, great and small, who are sending up an anthem to our great God and King this very minute.

Let’s all join in!

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11

Good Friday Hymn

In contemplation of this holy day, I remembered a song that I first heard as a young teen, early in my faith. It was performed by a 16 year old Amy Grant on her first album, My Father’s Eyes. This version of the old hymn, O Sacred Head Now Wounded, is still one of the most beautiful I’ve heard.

Have a wonderful weekend celebrating our Lord!
