Five Minute Encouragement

Today began with my husband reading me something about the things that help define us as human beings. One of those would be the words we whisper to ourselves about ourselves, true or untrue.

What we think about is important. Our thoughts have the power to help shape us.

Today, l hope this video encourages you to think differently about yourself. I hope it inspires you to not give up but, rather, to trust the Power within you.

Because, it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”  Philippians 2:13

Linking up with Lisa Jo for Five Minute Friday – We’re supposed to take five minutes to write about one word. The writing prompt today? You guessed it – Encouragement.

What do you think about the message of that video? Have you had a similar experience?

  1. Hi Angel! It’s great to be back visiting here, and what a beautiful video to greet me! I am totally going to find it and get it on my FB page (if I can figure it out, LOL!).
Encouragement like this is so precious. Thank you!
I just moved my blogspace, so I could use some of that. It’s a little scary, but I hope it will work out well. Thank you for a little boost today!

  2. I love this!

My husband tells me all the time that I need to stop listening to the nay sayer and discourager. I have lost all hearing in my left ear. This video worked as sort of a call to me to give “them” the left ear and listen with the “right” one instead.

    Make sense?

    • Makes perfect sense. I think we should all turn a deaf ear to the naysayers! Thanks for stopping by Debbie.
